Excellent article. This is a reason that voluntary IT teachers and IdeaSpies are investing in design and technology students with a pilot UpRising program in NSW schools - "computer and IT occupations are likely to grow much faster than the average of other occupations over the next decade, driven by the rise of cloud computing, big data, and information security".
