ABC expands education schedule to support students at home

From Monday 14 April – with students having started Term 2 or readying to do so, depending on their location – the ABC will extend its educational programming on ABC ME to support children and caregivers at home, from 10am to 3pm each weekday. The expanded schedule moves from blocks of primary school content in the mornings through to secondary school content in the afternoons, featuring programs such as Ecomaths, ScienceXplosion, Numberblocks and English on the Go.

What a terrific idea. I know many parents with 2 or more school-aged children who are working from home and trying to manage home schooling as well. MANY don't have resources provided from their schools and some don't have access to computers. Great to see the ABC supporting the community...and perhaps the community will support the ABC in return

Yes Jaqui- this is an opportunity for the ABC to get much more support.
