Aerogel to improve our lives

I propose to use graphite for armor: A type of Aerogel called graphite, is an amazing thing. It can bend, it?s stronger than steel, and harder than diamond. It is also very light and is the thinnest crystal we know about. According to the studies at Rice University, if you shot a bullet through graphite, it would absorb more of the bullet's kinetic energy. This means that several layers of graphite could completely stop a bullet. Graphite can be used for electrical wires: Graphite is also a good energy conductor. It has electrical properties that allow it to transfer energy. We can use this to our advantage and use it to make electrical wires. The benefits of better conductors is that electricity can go through more easily than say, copper. Graphene can solve our water crisis: Graphene is a material that can also absorb certain materials. It can help our water crisis by absorbing salt and bacteria, as well as lead. Graphite is very cheap, so countries can buy lots of it, and use it for filtering. Airloys can be used for construction Airloys are like the older brother of aerogels they are alike in many ways, but, they are really strong. They are actually stronger than most aerogels, and cost the same, unlike most strong aerogels. So, this material could be used for construction.
