Australia can lead the world at COP26 to stop global heating

post-image
Australia is among the least cooperative countries in climate change negotiations. But we can reverse that and become a leader in global cooperation at the forthcoming COP26 meeting in Glasgow. The current negotiating framework in use under the Paris Agreement unfortunately cannot stop global heating. Australia can propose a Motion to replace it with one that can stop the heating. A new basis for negotiations – one in which countries work out how to fairly share the remaining safe total tonnage of emissions – is a game changer. See why and how it can be done. https://www.austcfp.com.au/post/australia-can-lead-the-world-to-fix-climate-change

Great and hopeful thoughts about how Australia might behave - for the sake of a better future - at COP 26. Not sure what's going to be the catalyst for this change given the current Government's intransigent position...

Thanks Jeremy. We the people are the only catalyst. And if we can change the conversation, it just might work. Maybe not at COP26 but soon after.
