The tallest tree in Wales had been damaged by a storm and was supposed to be cut down but chainsaw artist Simon O'Rourke found a better solution to symbolise the tree's last attempt to reach the sky. https://www.treecarving.co.uk/

This is a stunning piece of art and a good use of what would have been a damaged tree cut down. As an artist myself, I often marvel at the ideas that ebb and flow through my mind as I drive through the country and gaze at the trees. Someone needs to start a forest museum.
