Halving Legal Research time - Thomson Reuters unveils ‘Westlaw Precision’

After 18 months, and with the combined effort of 250 attorney editors, Thomson Reuters unveiled their newest version of ‘Westlaw’ in September.  Westlaw Precision, like the former edition, classifies legal issues with the West Key Number system, but this updated version includes classifications of issue outcome, fact pattern, motion type and outcome, cause of action, and party type.  Thomson Reuters is hopeful that this added classification will reduce research time by half, which is a positive outcome for both law firms and their clients!
