How the Coronavirus is helping to improve the environment
The real longer-term crisis is climate change.
Ironically our response to a different crisis - the coronavirus pandemic - indicates that it is possible for us to change our ways, but only when there are governmental efforts to support behavioural change, which we have seen with coronavirus and need to see, now, with climate change.
During the pandemic, 5 "teenage girls were developing a low-cost, lightweight ventilator to help treat patients diagnosed with Covid-19 in Afghanistan.
