Off-roading with electric engines

When people think of electric engines, they usually think of cars not all the lower-volume vehicles with engines that will need to go electric to meet Government mandated emissions targets such as diggers on building sites, city street sweepers, farming tractors and harvesters and underground mining equipment.

Irish start-up Xerotech has created the world’s first and only scalable off-the-shelf energy system for non-road mobile machinery.

Xerotech’s battery system has been designed to get around the problem of affordability. Equipment manufacturers can pick and choose different battery, power and thermal components based on the needs of the machine it will power.
