Offshore hydrogen

post-image

ERM’s Dolphyn (Deepwater Offshore Local Production of HYdrogeN) project is exploring offshore hydrogen production option - a 10MW floating wind turbine with built-in electrolyser will convert sea water into green hydrogen. There is no water constraint, no electricity grid connection issue and the hydrogen can be shipped out by ammonia-powered vessel soon (EU’s ShipFC project)?
