Electric mobility - via EV's - is a clear pathway to zero-emissions transportation.

In this article, Andreas Lips, president and CEO of Shell Recharge Solutions in North America/Asia–Pacific, describes what infrastructure is required for the expected rapid uptake of EV's.

We need clean energy, distributed through the grid. But in many countries, including Australia, "the grid is not ready for electric-vehicle charging at scale".

"Three concepts need addressing:  open standards, interoperability, and energy management".

"EV charging will happen where it’s most convenient for the consumer and businesses. And that drive for convenience will drive the future of e-mobility".
