UK firm to trial T-cell Covid vaccine that could give longer immunity

Using an easy-to-administer skin patch, a UK Oxfordshire-based company will soon start clinical trials of a second-generation covid-19 vaccine.

This new type of vaccine will prime T-cells to remove infected cells from the body quickly after infection, thus preventing viral replication and disease.
