Who's delivering room service?

"Room service is expensive for hotels and accommodation providers to offer and food delivery platforms have spotted an opportunity as they look to continue the supercharged demand they have seen through the coronavirus pandemic."

I was quite shocked when I was last in New York and ordered my usual room service for the first night of my stay at a major hotel chain. Instead of the beautiful silver tray I received my hamburger in a paper bag with plastic cutlery for the same price! I did not realise then that my dinner was through a food delivery platform however your idea indicates it was. Great opportunity for food delivery platforms but not great service for guests.
