Emergency services (or even your friends at a festival) often struggle to find people when there is no exact address. In rural locations, on a beach or in the bush for example.

Here's a way to communicate your exact location to within a few square metres. Three words can locate you anywhere in the world. This service is being adopted by an increasing number of organisations. Try it out!

Thanks so much for posting this Michael. It was on my list to post. A few weeks ago I was walking with a friend in the back area of Centennial Park when she collapsed and i realised i needed to contact 000 but had no way of explaining where we were. Very fortunately she recovered quickly and I later heard about this excellent location service that is now on my phone.
