A need, an idea and creative craftsmanship
Imagination and energy are elements to enable something you desire to become a reality. “The idea for the guitar came from simply wanting an electric guitar but I didn’t want to spend $1000 on a premium fender -so I made one, deciding to spend the vast majority of the cost on the electronics. It is made from old Tasmanian Blackwood floorboards that glow in the dark, with resin stripes. I based it on a $80 guitar kit that I bought as a reference” Abe Mahlab UNSW student. It is not only beautiful it also sounds great.

A British Artist who pokes fun at British Culture
Sarah Lucas is part of the generation of Young British Artists who emerged during the 1990s. Her works frequently employ visual puns and bawdy humour by incorporating photography, collage and found objects. From the start, her irreverent practice—which spans sculpture, installation, photography, and mixed-media work—has poked fun at British culture, sexual norms, gender roles, and notions of propriety. Lucas pushes the limits of figurative representation; euphemisms, visual puns, and appropriated objects abound throughout her oeuvre. https://www.artsy.net/artist/sarah-lucas

Engage with Humour and Satire
Dan Ilic is an Australian presenter, comedian and filmmaker best known for his parody work. He recently ran satirical ads attacking Australia's climate policy on the world's biggest billboard in Times Square, New York. Ilic initially crowdfunded money for a campaign to purchase billboard space in Glasgow to coincide with the Cop26 climate summit. After exceeding his initial targets, Ilic bought 10 minutes of time on the billboard known as Godzilla and will also run his ads in marginal seats in Australia. We need more of this creativity to engage and communicate important issues we all need to understand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXx_z4WG7O8
