With no indoor dining allowed, New York City has allocated street space for restaurants to serve outdoors.  There's a lot of creativity and even contests for best outdoor dining experience.

As New York restaurants open outdoor dining the North Fork Road House offered to combine your ice cream with alcohol.  Very efficient and tasty too.

Deli flowers are back
After several weeks absence those great floral displays in front of Manhattan delis are back.  I couldn't resist a bunch of bright yellow mums.

Robot with personality
This robot with a personality tirelessly cleans the local supermarket in Riverhead, New York.  Not sure if he was planned before the Coronavirus lockdown, but he certainly fits with the current environment.

Wineries Flip To Make Hand Sanitizer
This winery and vodka maker has cleverly turned to making hand sanitizer.  One of the several hundred wineries on the East End of Long Island, which is famous for growing potatoes, LIV was doing a booming business when I visited yesterday.  At US $10 a bottle they are pricing for profit.
